Terms & Conditions of Installation

1. The Site/Planned Location for Your Shelter(s)

Providing you supply us with a suitable site for us to build on, you can sit back and relax! We require a suitable level substrate.

If you have any doubts, questions or concerns about the location where you envisage the Shelter(s) to be installed, please contact us prior to ordering your shelter(s)!

If you are confident that the site(s) is/are suitable, but have some other special delivery or installation instructions that we should be made aware of (in advance) please make sure you advise us as soon as possible following the placement of your order and at least one week before delivery.

2. Prices.

Please remember that all prices include exclude Value Added Tax (VAT) - which currently stands at 17.5%. Any prices published on this site are subject to availability. VAT will be automatically calculated and added to your order total.

3. Product Photography.

We have tried to supply photography that is as representative of our products as possible. However, please bear in mind that the exact colours and hue of your shelter(s) may differ slightly from those shown here.

4. Local Authority Approval.

You may need to obtain planning or building regulations approval before your building can be installed. It is your responsibility to check whether permission is necessary and a simple phone call to your local authority will usually determine this.

5. Delivery times.

All our delivery & installation times are estimates and we will not accept any liability for any consequential loss from any cause

6. Delivery method.

We may ask you to help us deliver the shelter efficiently by completing and returning a "Help our Driver" form. Our price includes for delivery about 23 metres (25 yards) from where we can park our lorry to the base. If there are special difficulties at your site please tell us. If you do not warn us of any special difficulty we will make a re-delivery charge of up to £150. Please note! We will not deliver through a house or outbuildings.

7. Installation.

We will need you to be on site to advise our installers of the exact position required. Please ensure the planned site complies with all relevant guidelines. All our installation times are estimates and we will not accept any liability for any consequential loss from any cause. Time is not of the essence of the contract.

8. Payment.

You may cancel your order subject to a £100 administration charge, for any reason, as long as you tell us at least seven days before delivery. We will refund all payments made to us less £100 administration fee. If you cancel your order in the final seven days before delivery, we will make a charge of £500 to cover our handling/stocking costs and we will refund the remainder of your payment.

9. Guarantee.

All of our smoking shelters carry a 1 year gurantee against manufacturing or construction defects.

Wood is a unique, natural product and the finish on the boards will therefore vary. Variation will be seen in the grains and shades of colour. Such properties are normal in wood and cannot be considered as a defect - they have to be accepted as an unavoidable property of the product. Shelters constructed from wood will shrink or swell according to weather conditions and this along with warping are natural properties of wood.

10. Law.

This contract is subject to English Law.
